<p>Qualifications</p> <p>The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:</p> <ul> <li>A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit </li><li>A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school </li><li>Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith for Christian Academy School System </li><li>Agreement and belief that The Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind </li></ul> <p>Accountabilities / Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Be under the general supervision of the Junior Academy Site Director and is to cooperate in a loyal and e?cient manner </li><li>Will be responsible for assisting the classroom teacher </li><li>Shall care for and treat each child with dignity and respect </li><li>Shall assist the children in getting prepared to leave in the afternoon </li><li>Shall assist the classroom teacher when needed for the following: break, gathering of supplies/materials, emergency situation involving a child </li><li>Shall keep the classroom properly stocked with paper goods needed for snack and lunch </li><li>Shall help in preparation of necessary materials for lessons/activities </li><li>Shall be substitute teacher when asked by Preschool Site Director </li><li>Shall attend and participate in all Preschool sta? meetings </li><li>Shall participate in recommended training programs, workshops, courses, and other aspect so professional growth as needed in order to maintain certi?cation </li><li>Shall attend and participate in the Annual Orientation, Annual Open House, programs and other events sponsored by CAL Preschool </li><li>Shall assure each child he/she is loved, that they have value, that God made them special (II Tim. 2:15) and will pray for each teacher and student daily </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Experience working with children (preferred but not required)</p> <p>The candidate shall prior to start date provide/successfully complete the following:</p> <ul> <li>TB Test </li><li>CPR & First Aid Training </li><li>Criminal Records Check </li><li>CAN Check </li></ul>
