<p>Summary/Objective</p> <p>The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a single warehouse location. This role ensures efficient inventory handling, team coordination, and adherence to company procedures. The position is labor-intensive and requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory. </li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates to inventory systems. </li><li>Supervise warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to meet productivity goals. </li><li>Ensure compliance with company safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment. </li><li>Provide input to the regional warehouse manager on hiring, performance reviews, and promotions. </li><li>Execute established processes and procedures; responsible for ensuring team adherence rather than creating new protocols. </li><li>Make independent decisions regarding warehouse operations, staffing schedules, and task prioritization within the location. </li><li>Collaborate with the Regional Manager to communicate operational needs, challenges, and improvement opportunities. </li><li>Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety practices. </li><li>Conduct routine inspections to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required. </li><li>Valid Drivers License and ability to pass DOT requirements </li><li>3+ years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field. </li></ul> <p>Preferred and Additional Eligibility Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Prior supervisory experience preferred. </li><li>CDL </li></ul> <p>Skills Required:</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership and team coordination skills. </li><li>Ability to manage manual labor tasks and lead by example. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management abilities. </li><li>Basic proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Office tools. </li><li>Effective communication skills for team guidance and reporting. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibility</p> <ul> <li>Direct oversight of warehouse staff at the assigned location. </li><li>Provide training, task delegation, and performance feedback. </li><li>Input into staffing decisions, with final authority held by the Regional Manager. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment /Physical Demands/Travel Required</p> <ul> <li>Primarily manual labor in a warehouse setting. </li><li>Work involves lifting, standing, and operating equipment. </li><li>Minimal travel; role is location-based. </li></ul> <p>AAP/EEO Statement</p> <p>NextEdge provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
