<p>Must be in a student in MVCTC BioTech program.</p> <p>Primary Purpose:</p> <p>Assists the Processing Support Technician team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all teams within the core clean room area. Assists with providing supplies and sterilized equipment for the Central Supply and the Processing operation. Assists with ensuring all equipment is washed, inspected, wrapped and sterilized properly in an efficient and timely manner.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Complies with standard work practices and safety guidelines throughout Central Supply and Processing operations. </li><li>Assists with attaining daily processing goals relating to productivity and quality. </li><li>Assists and participates in continuous improvement process/kaizen, and problem-solving activities. </li><li>Supports storeroom material flow and required kit building. </li><li>Assists in room opening, support, and room cleanup. </li><li>Assist Solvita techs with supplies and equipment for processing/packaging sessions in assigned area. </li><li>Assist with the opening and set-up of the cleaning rooms according to established SOP. </li><li>Assist in a support role for the technicians by circulating in the core area. </li><li>Assist with transcribing for teams as necessary. </li><li>Assist in the movement of donor tissue for processing. </li><li>Complete Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) review in a timely fashion. Either prior to implementation or before you begin to work after the implementation date of any SOP or policy. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <ul> <li>Student in Tech Program affiliated with Solvita. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment and Physical Activities</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation. </li></ul>
