This role will partner with Operations Leaders in sourcing, supply chain, EHS & quality to drive productivity and operational savings towards the P&L. The position holder will provide valuable decision support by leveraging data & analytics to identify and implement operational improvement opportunities.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Lead AOP / QBR / STRAP/ MBR, in a matrixed financial forecast for Operations Finance </li><li>Help to communicate forecast outlook with cross-division financial partners to drive alignment. </li><li>Lead data analysis for the business, using complex data and problem solving to drive productivity projects and P&L savings for the business. </li><li>Develop high quality effective presentations (i.e. engaging, motivating, concise, well-prep) </li><li>Drive continuous improvement and standardization of reporting and analytical processes </li><li>Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, plus 6+ years of experience in finance, with demonstrated expertise in operations finance, reporting and business partnering </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Proven understanding of Excel (i.e., financial models and analysis), SAP (or equivalent), PowerPoint, and Power BI is preferred </li><li>Proficient verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Proven business partner and influencer </li><li>Continuous Improvement approach: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI) </li><li>Exhibit leadership, initiative, and the Thermo Fisher Scientific 4-I values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement. </li></ul> <p>Travel requirements</p> <ul> <li>Less than 10% domestic/international travel required </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <p>The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $103,100.00-$154,700.00.</p> <p>This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
