<p>Description</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>The pool rover position works independently, and without direct supervision. The position will be responsible for up-keep of pools on assigned route. All pools are located within home-owner communities, making them the pride and joy of the residents. It's our job to deliver excellent service, and it starts with you!</p> <p>Your Responsibilities:</p> <p>The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty.</p> <ul> <li>Handling and dosing of all chemicals needed for proper functioning of pools. </li><li>Daily cleaning of swimming pools; vacuum, skim, brush, etc. </li><li>Responsible for keeping inventory of chemicals and supplies. </li><li>Cleaning/organizing pump rooms and pool decks. </li><li>Upkeep of restrooms; cleaning, restocking supplies, etc. </li><li>Reporting any problems that you are unable to fix. </li><li>Accurately logging detailed notes of daily procedures done at a pool. </li><li>Must wear pool safety equipment at all times. </li><li>Friendly, personable and social with residents. </li><li>Effective and efficient with time, work quality, and final product. </li><li>Consistently produce high quality work. </li><li>Ability to work as a team member. </li><li>Must be available to work weekends and holidays. </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards. </li><li>Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct. </li><li>Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies. </li><li>May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines. </li><li>Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work. </li><li>Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management. </li><li>Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills. </li><li>Problem solving skills. </li><li>Flexible and good time management. </li><li>Maintains professionalism - courteous, polite, etc. </li><li>Dependable. </li><li>Honorable and trustworthy. </li><li>Reliable personal vehicle, preferably a truck (compensated for drive time/mileage). </li><li>General or light tools (some mechanical inclination recommended). </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>The work environment characteristics are normal outdoor conditions. Some exposure to sunlight, water, and noise. </li><li>Consistent and regular attendance required. </li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
