Your responsibilities include coordinating guest check in and check out, guest accounting, concierge, guest services, make room reservations, operate a PBX console, process service requests, coordinate room readiness and special requests with the EVS and Maintenance departments, and participate with guest events and health & wellness initiatives.</p> <p>Please note: This position will primarily work the evening shifts and middle shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. This position will work all weekends and holidays. This position will train for all the shifts, including the night shift. Shifts may vary to accommodate operational needs.</p> <p>Various Shifts:</p> <ul> <li> <p>6:00am-2:30pm</p> </li><li> <p>9:30am-6:00pm</p> </li><li> <p>2:00pm-10:30pm</p> </li><li> <p>10:15pm-6:15am</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $25.60-36.33/hour</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in the service industry and working with colleagues to accomplish department goals and objectives, while motivating others to work together as team. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in working in high-volume public contact setting including customer service, team building, problem solving, and service recovery. </li><li>2 years' experience in the hospitality, retail, or service industry. </li><li>Skill in prioritizing assignments and multi-tasking to complete work when there are changes in workload, pressures of deadlines, and competing requirements. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a group collaborating with colleagues and to follow through on assignments with minimal direction. </li><li>Ability to write concise, logical, grammatically correct memos, letters, routine email correspondence, etc. </li><li>Interpersonal skills to communicate, work diplomatically and interact effectively with diverse hotel guests, personnel at various levels, in a high volume continuous public contact setting, including patients, students, colleagues, and other university employees. </li><li>Skill in operating a personal computer, and a hotel property management system including working knowledge of equipment capabilities and programs. </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, & Word. </li><li>Ability to work accurately with numbers and knowledge of cash handling procedures. </li><li>Ability to perform basic physical tasks, actively make deliveries using stairs, participate in room rounds and inspections, and to lift up to 25-40lbs. </li><li>Must be able to work various shifts as needed. </li></ul> <p>As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct; have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of misconduct with a previous employer.</p>
