<p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>A Program Assistant is needed to oversee and carry out multiple research projects in the Pediatric Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery division. The study projects include those centered on health disparities, improving access to care for children with sleep-disordered breathing with a patient navigation intervention, post-tonsillectomy pain and steroid randomized controlled trial, among others. The Assistant will work with researchers, clinicians, medical students, and patients/caregivers through organization of trials and recruitment of participants. Assists with the creation of data collection forms (surveys or source documents)</p> <p>20% - Collaborate with members of the research team in developing and implementing strategies for effective management of studies</p> <p>20% - Reviewing regulatory documentation and participate in reporting and communications for scientific and IRB review</p> <p>5% - Other duties as assigned</p> <p>The above statements describe the general nature and level of work-related activities but is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
