The ideal candidate is experienced with HVAC, plumbing & electrical, HVAC certified, honest, a team player, and provides exemplary customer service skills.</p> <p>Fogelman offers</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay with on-call stipend and cell phone allowance, on site housing discount </li><li>Major benefits plus matching 401K </li><li>Ongoing training & Associate Recognitions </li><li>Opportunities for career growth! </li></ul> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician is responsible forcompleting maintenance service requests and repairs to the buildings and grounds as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor whileprovidingexcellent customer service to ourresidents.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for completing all service requests as assigned. </li><li>Responsible for the completion of all make-ready units. </li><li>Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company. </li><li>Responsible for supplying all personal tools. </li><li>Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment. </li><li>Assists in preventive maintenance projects. </li><li>Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director. </li><li>Participates in "on call" rotation and responds to emergency calls as needed. </li><li>Responsible for positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers. </li><li>Be aware of and operate within company safety policies at all times. </li><li>Weekend work may be required. </li><li>Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing. </li><li>Other job duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred. </li><li>HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal). </li><li>Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred. </li><li>Proficient in the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair. </li><li>Proficient in use of computers and online applications. </li><li>Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred. </li><li>Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required. </li></ul> <p>ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>The environmental and physical demands described here are representative of those an individual must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
