This is a hands-on role for a highly skilled professional who thrives on solving challenging machining problems and driving innovation in multi-axis programming.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Program intricate aerospace and defense components for multi-axis machining, with a strong focus on advanced 5-axis milling strategies. </li><li>Optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and other modern CAM tools. </li><li>Design and validate robust workholding and fixturing solutions for high-precision production and prototypes. </li><li>Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and leadership to improve cycle times, extend tool life, and ensure process stability. </li><li>Create and maintain detailed setup sheets and machining work instructions. </li><li>Champion the adoption of new technologies, including machine upgrades, advanced tooling, and automation systems. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of CNC programming experience, specializing in 4- and 5-axis milling. </li><li>Expert-level proficiency in Mastercam, including simultaneous 5-axis toolpath programming. </li><li>Skilled in SolidWorks for design and modeling. </li><li>Strong understanding of machining characteristics for aluminum, steels, stainless steel, titanium, and nickel alloys. </li><li>Proven track record in process optimization, cycle time reduction, and tool life improvement. </li><li>Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex multi-axis machining challenges. </li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Expertise</p> <ul> <li>Ability to design, validate, and optimize fixtures, tooling strategies, and setup plans for multi-axis machining. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay starting at $44/hr </li><li>Clean, climate-controlled environment. </li><li>Collaborative team of 5-6 experienced programmers. </li><li>Opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace and defense projects. </li></ul> <p>Ready to take your CNC programming expertise to the next level?
