<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Junior Accountant is responsible for performing all functions of the banks Accounts Payable (AP) area.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Review and input of vendor invoices </li><li>Weekly ACH and check processing </li><li>Scanning of invoices and posting sheets </li><li>Form W-9 maintenance and year-end issuance of 1099 forms to the IRS and vendors </li><li>Reconciles simple ledgers, posts information, processes payments and compiles segments of </li><li>monthly closings, reports, etc. </li><li>Communicates with other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems. </li><li>The Junior Accountant will be called upon to perform department backup functions, assist other departments and follow Bank policies and procedures. </li><li>Positive contribution in a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <p>HS diploma or AS degree in accounting. 1-year related experience.</p> <p>Salary Ranges: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour</p> <p>Why Rhinebeck Bank?</p> <p>Since 1860, Rhinebeck Bank has been a cornerstone of the Hudson Valley community.
