In this role, you'll play a crucial part in building a fully automated platform by overseeing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools, implementing and managing automation, and enhancing our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings in both on-premises and cloud settings. Your focus will be on streamlining development cycles and reducing time-to-market for customer-facing services through automation, all while adopting a zero-downtime approach to maintain the stability and reliability of our operations. If you're eager to drive innovation and make a significant impact, this is your opportunity to shine.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support fast-paced and high-quality software delivery. </li><li>Build automation for deployments across multiple environments. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices seamlessly into the development lifecycle. </li><li>Enhance platform scalability, reliability, and security in on-premises and cloud environments. </li><li>Advocate for DevOps best practices, promoting a culture of automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. </li><li>Ability to identify and analyze incidents, develop and implement solutions </li><li>Stay up to date with emerging tools, trends, and technologies, and share knowledge within the team. </li><li>Have the patience and ability as a subject matter expert to communicate with a wide variety of stake holders. </li><li>Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role. </li><li>Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager. </li><li>Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group. </li><li>Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you. </li><li>Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear. </li></ul> <p>Skills required:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Developer in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment. </li><li>Experience of designing and building reusable CI/CD pipelines using industry standard tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, TeamCity. </li><li>Experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and working in a dynamic containerised environment. </li><li>Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Groovy etc.).
