<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Quality Engineer ensures that all customer quality issues are quickly resolved, and they are satisfied with the level of service expected by DENSO. Acts as a window person between the customer and DENSO for mass production issues, new model launches and design change management.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Act?as a communication leader between foreign and domestic customers, local manufacturing, and engineering groups. </li><li>Lead?technical meetings, presentations, regular correspondence with customers, monitor customer quality issues, develop countermeasures to resolve issues found to prevent recurrence. </li><li>Perform?deep analysis of products including packaging and?circuit hardware & software </li><li>Identify, quantify?and lead?engineering, system, and quality improvement projects. </li><li>Communicate?with OEM customer engineering groups. </li><li>Test electronic systems on vehicles at OEM factory sites </li><li>Conduct financial, statistical, and root cause analysis to decide among possible engineering options. </li><li>Establish plant visits to perform audits, monitor design changes to confirm implementation and effectiveness of change. </li><li>Occasional domestic and foreign travel may be required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. </li><li>3+ years of related experience is preferred but not required. </li><li>The level of this position is flexible based on the candidate. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Mechanical aptitude as many issues presented by the customer are vague and require additional investigation. </li><li>Customer service skills are required. Ability to promote and support a service-oriented environment. </li><li>Negotiation skills.
