She or He will effectively partner with logistics leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs and translate requirements into visual reports and dashboards. The Sr. Logistics Reporting Specialist is capable of performing her or his day-to-day job duties without supervision and is expected to perform real-time operational or strategic decision making without consulting her or his manager, when appropriate. Through prior experience as a Reporting Specialist or Analyst she or he understands the dynamic nature of our business to anticipate future needs and provide continued support to the operations. Responsibilities include providing creative and structured analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities and the ability to communicate findings clearly across the organization, as well as assisting and mentoring "junior" Reporting Specialist.</p> <p>Description:</p> <ul> <li>Partners closely with leadership team to develop and execute reporting strategy and roadmap. </li><li>Provides guidance and training to new team members on execution of roles of responsibilities. </li><li>Provides subject matter expertise to help define roles & responsibilities with critical stakeholders such as IT. </li><li>Works unsupervised to manage projects with logistics partners including outlining business requirements, managing expectations, and prioritizing projects based on judgement of what provides most urgent need to business. </li><li>Develops reports and dashboards that track logistics performance as well as create sophisticated models that forecast future KPI's. </li><li>Provides context to performance through standardized and documented definition of KPIs in collaboration with business partners. </li><li>Scopes, develops, and defines mechanisms for gathering data used to measure performance. </li><li>Effectively monitors and manages the repository of reports without consultation from supervisor, when appropriate. </li><li>Conducts initial analysis and develops insights for reports, as well as assists newer team members with conducting their analyses. </li><li>Trains newer team members on business knowledge, technical skills, and project management, as well as provides close support and mentorship for 1-3 months after a new hire onboards. </li><li>Supports ad hoc operational data requests and reporting. </li><li>Identifies opportunities to streamline reporting distribution and makes recommendations to supervisors or managers on how to improve processes. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in an analytical role such as Reporting, Business Analysis, or Data Analytics; Knowledge of the basic principles of data modeling, data engineering, and data visualization. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree (preferred) in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or Finance. </li><li>Technology aptitude (Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Microsoft Power Automate). </li><li>Experience in supply chain, operations, analytics, finance or related field a plus. </li><li>Comfortable working with large datasets exceeding 10 million rows using various tools resources available. </li><li>Strong attention to detail to recognize patterns and inconsistencies in data. </li></ul> <p>Benefits include Associate discount; 401(k) match; medical/dental/vision; HSA; health care FSA; life insurance; short/long-term disability; paid holidays/vacation /sick/bereavement/parental leave; EAP; incentive programs for management; auto/home insurance discounts; tuition reimbursement; scholarship program; adoption/surrogacy assistance; smoking cessation; child care/cell phone discounts; pet/legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive.</p>
