<p>Notice of Vacancy Electrical Instructor SY 25-26</p> <p>Looking for a passionate, competent, and personable individual to inspire students.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must have a Chapter 74 Electrical Preliminary Vocational Technical Teacher License or fulfill the requirements for the Preliminary License by the start of the 2025-26 school year.</p> <p>The DESE Electrical Preliminary Vocational Technical Teacher License requirements include:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma. </li><li>Possession of current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license. </li><li>Possession of current Massachusetts Master Electrician license. </li><li>Passing score of at least 70% on the written test and performance test in electricity. </li><li>Passing score on the Vocational Technical Literacy Skills test (VTLST) or the Communication and Literacy Skills test. </li><li>Five years of recent (within the last seven years), full-time employment experience directly related to electricity. a.An associate degree may substitute for one of five years of required employment experience, provided that the degree includes subject matter related to or more strands of the Vocational Technical Education Framework in electricity<em>, and/or in education. b.A bachelor's degree may substitute for two of the five years of required employment experience, provided that the degree includes subject matter related to one or more strands of the Vocational Technical Education Framework in electricity</em>, and/or in education. </li></ul> <p>APPLICATION: 1.Submit a resume. 2.Provide three letters of recommendation. 3.CORI and fingerprinting required if hired. 4.Submit documentary evidence of: a.Electrical Preliminary Vocational Technical Teacher License or License status per the ELAR Summary Sheet b.Current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician and Master Electrician licenses c.Work experience d.High School/College Transcripts</p> <p>LETTERS OF APPLICATION ARE TO BE FORWARDED TO: Gary Linehan Principal Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School District 476 North Avenue Rochester, MA 02770</p> <p>CLOSING DATE: Until filled.
