<p>As core members of the restaurant leadership team, Restaurant Directors typically oversee specific areas of the restaurant business like Operations, Training, Human Resources, and more. A Director oversees a department within the business and is responsible and accountable for business results in that department. Qualified applicants have 5+ years of leadership experience and flexible availability during restaurant business hours.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Fully owns area processes, results, and staffing </li><li>Works with Executive Director Team to set strategy for operational systems and processes </li><li>Develops a strong Team Leader and Supervisor tier </li><li>Develops and leads the team toward accomplishing performance metrics </li><li>Ensures proper management and documentation of all area systems and guidelines </li><li>Drives brand standards for Food Quality, Safety, Guest Experience, and all other performance metrics </li><li>Explores and implements new ways to improve operations </li><li>Creates a positive restaurant environment for the guests and team </li><li>Allocates daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance tasks </li><li>Analyzes and effects business results: CEM, Food Cost, Labor Cost, Net Profit </li><li>Prepares the restaurant and team for all Third Party Audits: Health Department, Deloitte, EcoSure, etc. </li><li>Anticipates and solves long-term issues of throughput and systems </li><li>Supports fellow Director Team with coverage for time off </li><li>Attends weekly director meeting </li><li>Participates in all team building events </li><li>All other tasks as assigned </li></ul> <p>Required Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Thinks strategically and casts vision: able to see and communicate the business goals with the ability to use forward thinking and planning </li><li>Communicates effectively: communicates clearly and professionally, sets clear expectations, able to lead crucial conversations with tact and empathy </li><li>Time management: organization, high capacity, meets deadlines, prioritizes most important goals, makes wise decisions </li><li>Adapts and innovates: adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions and generates new approaches to problems </li><li>Growth oriented: explores new ideas and opportunities to produce results for the business </li><li>Intentional leadership: intentionally and proactively leads the team to meet our potential in a God-honoring way </li><li>Organizational builder: skilled in organizational strategy and execution; thinks, builds, and leads like an owner </li><li>Culture guardian: models Core Values, exemplifies our Vision, and lives out the Chick-fil-A Corporate Purpose </li><li>Faithful steward: invests and multiplies what has been given to them to steward </li></ul> <p>Development</p> <ul> <li>Create and follow personal development plan </li><li>Develop and execute quarterly area growth plans </li><li>Meet 1:1 with Executive Director to discuss the business and problem solve to improve results </li><li>Maintain current ServSafe Certification </li><li>Work intentionally with leadership team </li><li>Develop strong supervisor team </li><li>Collaborate with Training Director and Leadership Development Director in tracking all team members' development </li></ul> <p>Key Performance Indicators</p> <ul> <li>Food Safety Score </li><li>Customer Experience Metrics </li><li>Sales Growth </li><li>Net Profit </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Full time </li><li>45+ hours per week </li><li>Flexible availability required </li></ul> <p>Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
