<p>Description</p> <p>Medical Assistant that works in their pediatric neurology department and must be comfortable working with pediatric patients. They have a total of 8 exam rooms. They see around 30-50 patients per day. Their responsibility is to float from both front and back office responsibilities.</p> <p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities Patient Care Duties Interacts directly with patients in clinic setting and completes tasks, which may include obtaining vital signs, conducting EKGs and verifying medications. Prepares for office hours by doing tasks such as obtaining charts, scheduling tests and preparing exam rooms.</p> <p>Skills</p> <p>Charting in EPIC</p> <p>Vitals</p> <p>Vaccinations</p> <p>Rooming</p> <p>Scheduling tests and procedures</p> <p>Support physicians in patient care</p> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <p>Front Medical Assistant with at least 2 years of experience</p> <p>Must have current RMA through AMT or CCMA through NHA</p> <p>EPIC Experience strongly preferred</p> <p>Experience working in Pediatrics</p> <p>BLS Certified</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
