<p>Our customer is a real estate firm that is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for mixed-use properties. Multifamily and commercial, along with leasing experience, are needed.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$65k - $75k plus Bonuses</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Assistant Property Manager supports the daily operations of a large mixed-use community in Boston, consisting of residential apartments, office and retail tenants, and a public garage. They will oversee leasing, tenant relations, property maintenance, financial performance, and team management.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in managing the daily operations of the mixed-use community, including common areas and facilities. </li><li>Ensure the property is well-maintained, secure & compliant with local regulations. </li><li>Support property inspections. </li><li>Address maintenance, cleanliness & operational issues. </li><li>Showing available units and spaces to prospective tenants. </li><li>Assist in lease renewals, applications, and lease administration. </li><li>Foster positive relationships with tenants. </li><li>Ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction across all property types. </li><li>Assist in preparing budgets and financial reports, tracking expenses and income. </li><li>Oversee rent collections, payment processing, and lease compliance. </li><li>Maintain tenant records and financial documents. </li><li>Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy, and financial discrepancies. </li><li>Prioritizing and completing work orders. </li><li>Coordinate with third-party vendors. </li><li>Assist in marketing available apartments & supporting community events. </li><li>Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing laws and safety codes. </li><li>Ensure property insurance policies and safety procedures are up-to-date. </li><li>Assist in supervising, training, and scheduling staff, including leasing agents, maintenance teams, and administrative personnel. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Assistant Property Manager:</p> <ul> <li>Experience as an Assistant Property Manager - multifamily market rate and commercial background. </li><li>Leasing exposure. </li><li>AP processing experience. </li><li>AR collections experience. </li><li>Budgeting and financial reporting. </li><li>Polished, presents well, high-end relationship building. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Paid time-off, sick time, personal days, and holidays. </li><li>Regular pay equity audits. </li><li>Summer Fridays. </li><li>Flex days. </li><li>Full medical and dental benefits. </li><li>Team outings. </li></ul>
