<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Waterford Public School is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and organized candidate for the position of Occupational Therapist District Wide, effective for the 2025/26 school year.</p> <p>The occupational therapist is responsible for screening, assessment, planning and programming as well as goal development. The occupational therapist provides appropriate intervention services that are designed to enhance the student's potential for learning, to assist the student in acquiring those functional performance skills needed to participate in and benefit from the educational environment, and to help the student function independently.</p> <p>Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12. The Waterford Board of Education is a nine-member elected body.</p> <p>EDUCATION, LICENSE and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Must hold a CT License and be certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) </li><li>Experience in a school - setting preferred. This position will serve students PreK-12. </li></ul> <p>Work Year: This is a full-time school -year position, 7.5 hours per day, Monday-Friday.
