<p>Job Title: VDC Specialist/Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This role is a crucial position in the Mission Critical vertical, focusing on Data Center design and construction. The organization is recognized as the nation's 8th largest general contractor, with expertise in the industrial, commercial, and technology sectors.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage VDC processes and activities to support assigned projects. </li><li>Provide models and documents necessary to complete scope as determined with VDC/BIM leadership and project teams. </li><li>Create and maintain clear and effective project documentation, including meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and constraint logs. </li><li>Read and interpret shop drawings, submittals, product data, and incorporate necessary items into the BIM process. </li><li>Support operations with the RFI process for BIM-related items. </li><li>Maintain a productive and efficient BIM process. </li><li>Collaborate with VDC Directors and Self-Perform VDC to ensure general VDC services, deliverables, and schedules meet project objectives. </li><li>Maintain working relationships with owners, subcontractors, and project teams. </li><li>Read and interpret owner requirements, BIM execution plans, front-end scopes of work, and ensure minimum project requirements are met. </li><li>Develop composite models by assembling 3D content provided by designers and trade contractors; create models for any content not provided. </li><li>Lead the VDC processes and standards. </li><li>Manage change processes and incorporate changes into all project models. </li><li>Track and communicate schedule and budget impacts to operations teams in a timely manner. </li><li>Provide BIM technical support to internal project teams. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Trimble Sketchup. </li><li>5+ years of BIM-related experience. </li><li>Degree in Architecture or Engineering (MEP). </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Autodesk Revit, Trimble Sketchup, BIM 360, Navisworks, Bluebeam, AutoCAD. </li><li>BIM experience working on Data Center projects is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is based in an office environment, reporting to the Bowling Green meta facility. The role involves interesting work in the field of semiconductors, data centers, and commercial construction.
