<p>Job Description</p> <p>Infosys is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Domain Consultant. You will be a key player in the consulting team. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX/ Raleigh, NC/ Indianapolis, IN/ Hartford, CT/Tempe, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. </li><li>Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. </li><li>At least 4 Years of experience in Information Technology. </li><li>All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply. </li><li>Relevant experience as a domain / business consultant or Business Analyst or an industry practitioner in manufacturing. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in at least one of the industry segments- Business analyst / Product Owner. Functional domains - Vehicle order Planning & production Scheduling, Vehicle Logistics, Distribution center management, Supplier Visibility, Dynamic Order Management, warehouse management, Automotive sales and aftersales, Production management, Automotive digital retail, Auto finance. Worked in IT application development project. </li><li>Any relevant certification will be an added advantage - Six Sigma, APICS, SCOR, PMP etc. Implementation / Working Knowledge of SCM packages such as SAP Ariba, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Oracle etc </li><li>Experience of working in Automotive or retail order management, distribution, Logistics planning projects. Exposure of working in Automotive sales and aftersales, Production management, Automotive digital retail, Auto finance </li><li>Demonstrates strong proficiency across the Industry value chain and related best practices </li><li>Ability to build executive connects and drive end-end client services. </li><li>Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. </li><li>Experience in driving meetings/workshops with senior client executives, business leads & cross functional stakeholders and articulate project documents lucidly </li><li>Preferably should have an exposure to outsourcing and offshoring work models </li></ul> <p>The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.</p>
