<p>Job Summary and Responsibilities</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Upon referral provides professional Physical Therapy services including evaluations, planning individual patient care programs, and treatments. Demonstrates/uses current knowledge of principles and practices of Physical Therapy. Participates in job related departmental functions as an integral member of the patient care team.</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors Other Physical Therapy and Minimum of one year experience as a physical therapist in physical disabilities setting, preferably in acute care or acute rehab; OR </li><li>Completion of six to nine months internship in an acute care or acute rehab. </li><li>Knowledge of physical therapy theory, treatment, and evaluation in areas of neurology is recommended, upon hire or </li><li>Masters Other Physical Therapy and Minimum of one year experience as a physical therapist in physical disabilities setting, preferably in acute care or acute rehab; OR </li><li>Completion of six to nine months internship in an acute care or acute rehab. </li><li>Knowledge of physical therapy theory, treatment, and evaluation in areas of neurology is recommended, upon hire or </li><li>Doctorate Of Science Physical Therapy and Minimum of one year experience as a physical therapist in physical disabilities setting, preferably in acute care or acute rehab; OR </li><li>Completion of six to nine months internship in an acute care or acute rehab. </li><li>Knowledge of physical therapy theory, treatment, and evaluation in areas of neurology is recommended, upon hire </li><li>Physical Therapist: CA, upon hire and </li><li>Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire </li></ul> <p>Where You'll Work</p> <p>Founded in 1941, Dignity Health - Dominican Hospital is a 188-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Santa Cruz, California.
