Submit both a cover letter and resume as one file.</p> <p>Competitive salary available based on qualifications, experience and education of the selected candidate.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Advanced Research Computing (ARC) organization within Information Technology Services (ITS) in conjunction with the Social Media Archive (SOMAR) in the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) has an exciting opportunity to employ a Research Cloud Solutions Designer.</p> <p>This position will report to the Research Computing Manager within ARC and will be responsible for building, operating, and supporting secure enclaves for sensitive data research in AWS. The successful candidate will be able to create software-defined solutions for data analytics, restricted data research, and other cases that can benefit from enclave technology. They will also be able to integrate existing institutional Windows and Linux support resources into automated recipes for secure enclaves.</p> <p>This position will serve as a technical resource within a team that continues to design and operate our public cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will have the ability to act on specific project initiatives and provide expertise, guidance, and strong collaboration to various team members.
