<p>Communications Coordinator II</p> <p>Department: Corporate/Administrative</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time</p> <p>Location: Pleasant Grove, UT</p> <p>Description</p> <p>At Horrocks, we believe the best work comes from companies with values, that our people are our greatest resource, and that we have a responsibility to the communities where we work. We are looking for a creative and goal-oriented individual to join our growing Communications Department as a Communications Coordinator II.</p> <p>What are the core responsibilities for the role?</p> <p>This is a writing-intensive communications position. This person will support the purpose and responsibilities of the Communications Department through content writing, project management, and related administrative support.</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the creation and execution of strategic communication plans. </li><li>Review and edit communications deliverables to maintain consistent voice, messaging, and quality. </li><li>Create content for internal email communications, internal news articles, and employee resources - as well as blog posts and social media. </li><li>Collaborate with technical staff, clients, and various corporate departments to develop campaigns and communications that meet their needs. </li><li>Assist in maintaining an editorial calendar with topics and dates. </li><li>Prepare monthly analytics reports for one or more communications channels (e.g., Mailchimp, SharePoint) and help to recommend changes to optimize communications performance. </li><li>Participate in the creation of company video and website projects. </li><li>Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. </li><li>Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Horrocks brand, voice, and mission. </li><li>Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills </li><li>Minimum of 2-5 years of professional writing and communications experience </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or equivalent </li><li>Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver projects within deadlines </li><li>Comfortable taking ownership of and leading communications campaigns </li><li>Proven ability to learn and improve performance through feedback </li><li>Ability to remain flexible and adaptable to changing priorities </li><li>Aptitude in Microsoft Office </li><li>Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Canva, and Mailchimp preferred (Viva Engage and Wix a plus) </li></ul> <p>Why would a candidate want this job?</p> <p>At Horrocks, you can expect a competitive base salary and award-winning benefits.
