<p>Overview</p> <p>The Field Engineer (Track Allocation - Outside of Active LRV Testing Area) plays a critical role in supporting the safe and efficient execution of construction activities within designated rail corridors. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating work zone access requests, developing and maintaining a rolling work area allocation schedule, and facilitating communication between multiple internal and external stakeholders. The coordinator ensures that construction activities are properly scheduled and aligned with project priorities, while avoiding conflicts with active Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) testing zones.</p> <p>Apply now and transform your career with us.</p> <p>Apply now and transform your career with us.</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Receive and process work zone access requests from internal teams and external contractors. </li><li>Develop and maintain a rolling 4-week work area allocation schedule. </li><li>Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts in collaboration with Segment Leads, Subcontract Managers, Systems Managers, and Area Managers. </li><li>Publish the finalized work area allocation schedule weekly, or more frequently as field conditions require. </li><li>Facilitate coordination meetings between work groups to support joint-use ("piggy-back") work zone requests. </li><li>Lead the weekly Construction Area Track Allocation Meetings to ensure alignment across all stakeholders. </li><li>Support the Construction Rail Operations (CRO) team with additional duties related to safety and planning, ensuring safe and efficient project execution. </li></ul> <p>What we are looking for</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Transportation, or Construction Management (preferred). </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>High attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook). </li><li>Experience in scheduling, transportation, construction, or railway operations is a strong asset. </li></ul> <p>Why work for us</p> <p>Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program </li><li>Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP </li><li>Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical </li><li>Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement Program </li></ul> <p>We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.</p> <p>Salary Min</p> <p>USD $65,000.00/Yr.</p> <p>Salary Max</p> <p>USD $80,000.00/Yr.</p>
