The division currently has 36 full-time faculty members engaged in several subspecialties, who are also engaged in a broad spectrum of clinical, translational and basic research in Hematology.</p> <p>Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, the only NCI-designated Cancer Center in the Intermountain West, provides an excellent research environment. State of the art resources are available on-site spanning from world-class transgenic facilities, genome-wide scanning technologies to drug development platforms, pharmacology and toxicology. The scientific environment in the division and the wider University is vibrant and extremely collaborative.
