The following qualifications outline what we’re looking for, including both required and preferred criteria:</p> <p> </p> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or G.E.D. required </li><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred </li><li>5+ years of progressive work experience in a utility focused role responsible for ammonia refrigeration, steam boiler, and air compressor operations and maintenance, required. </li><li>3+ years’ manufacturing experience with demonstrated technical aptitude and leadership </li><li>Experience working with a CMMS system like MVP, SAP, Maximo  </li><li>Experienced in supervising support personnel </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Fundamental knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling systems </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems </li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize and multitask </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office </li><li>Ability to work in a fluid environment </li><li>Ability to identify problems, draw conclusions, and make recommended solutions </li><li>Ability to be self-directed with little supervision </li><li>Understand TPM and continuous improvement methods </li><li>Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance </li><li>Availability to be on call nights and/or weekends as required </li><li>Working knowledge of screw compressors, electrical troubleshooting all common types of ammonia central systems, & control/alarm systems, water tube and fire tube boilers, and compressed air systems </li><li>HAZ-MAT training </li><li>RETA 1&2 certification a plus </li><li>Process Safety Management training </li><li>Ability to adjust schedule to support 24/7 Manufacturing Operation; may include working graveyard shift and/or weekends as needed. </li></ul>
