<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer </li><li>Installs trench boxes as necessary </li><li>Operates equipment in compliance with Muller's safety policies and OSHA procedures </li><li>Ensure proper excavation & compaction procedures are performed </li><li>Ensures all equipment is maintained by performing daily equipment inspections & grease equipment at required intervals </li><li>Demonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilities </li><li>Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job </li><li>Manage quality control and production </li><li>Train team members as needed in a hands-on manner </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability access secured facilities </li><li>Ability to operate large excavators with precision </li><li>High attention to detail </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.). </li><li>Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen. </li><li>Other physical requirements include walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>Pay based on experience and certifications </li><li>Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance/Short Term Disability/Accident/Critical Illness/Hospital Confinement </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>401 + Match </li></ul>
