<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>This role is responsible for supporting clients with various tasks within the accounting and finance functions.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Functions in various capacities including Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager for clients </li><li>Demonstrates an ability to manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously </li><li>Prepares miscellaneous accounting reports </li><li>Participates in various ad hoc projects </li><li>Oversees all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing </li><li>Demonstrates an ability to perform due diligence procedures for clients </li><li>Assists clients with SEC Reporting </li><li>Resolves complex accounting issues, and assist clients with implementation of new accounting pronouncements including ASC606 and ASC842 </li><li>Other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree, required; focus in Accounting, preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Five (5) or more years related experience, required </li><li>Experience working with public, private or private equity companies, required </li><li>Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks or SAP, required </li><li>Professional services industry experience, preferred </li><li>Public Accounting experience, preferred </li><li>Experience with MS Excel at advanced level, preferred </li></ul> <p>License(s)/Certification(s):</p> <ul> <li>CPA, preferred </li></ul> <p>Software:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook, required </li></ul> <p>Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Technical skills commensurate with level of experience </li><li>Demonstrate a high level of professionalism even under pressure </li><li>Team player and contribute knowledge as well as ask for help </li><li>Fast learner and able to work ethically and effectively </li><li>Strong interpersonal and oral and written communications skills with ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels of customers' and internal organization </li><li>Continually strive to improve inter-personal, management, functional, and technical skills set </li><li>Ability to travel minimum of 50%, preferred </li></ul> <p>Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.</p> <p>California Range: $40.00/hr - $70.00/hr</p> <p>Colorado Range: $40.00/hr - $70.00/hr</p> <p>Illinois Range: $40.00/hr - $70.00/hr</p> <p>Maryland Range: $40.00/hr - $70.00/hr</p> <p>Minnesota Range: $40.00/hr - $70.00/hr</p> <p>NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $40.00/hr - $70.00/hr</p> <p>Washington Range: $40.00/hr - $70.00/hr</p> <p>Washington DC Range: $40.00/hr - $70.00/hr</p>
