As an Assistant Dance Coach, you will inspire, motivate, and teach students dance-specific skills while fostering positive character traits and building meaningful relationships with athletes both in and outside of practice.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the planning and execution of dance routines and practices. </li><li>Provide individualized coaching to athletes, focusing on technique and performance. </li><li>Support the Head Coach in managing team dynamics and choreography. </li><li>Promote a positive and supportive team culture. </li><li>Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. </li><li>Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff. </li><li>Ensure the safety of students during rehearsals and performances. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication and leadership skills. </li><li>Passion for teaching dance and motivating students. </li><li>Knowledge of various dance styles and techniques. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of 60 or more college credit hours prior to coaching. </li></ul> <p>Eligible Applicants:</p> <ul> <li>FHSD Certified Employees </li><li>FHSD Non-Certified Employees </li><li>Qualified External Candidates </li></ul> <p>We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you to the FHSD team!</p>
