Find your future with us.</p> <p>Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the St. Louis Air Dominance Supplier Quality Team located in Berkley, MO!</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <p>Level 2</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assists with audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.</p> </li><li> <p>Documents audit and assessment results.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspects or verifies less complex products for compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues.</p> </li></ul> <p>Level 3</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manages Supplier Nonconformance Responsibilities and issues Supplier Corrective Actions</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances</p> </li><li> <p>Performs problem-solving through analysis of metrics to improve supplier performance</p> </li><li> <p>Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Plans and conduct audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.</p> </li><li> <p>Documents and reports audit and assessment results.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Resolves routine issues and concerns.</p> </li></ul> <p>This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.</p> <p>This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required</p> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>1+ year of experience in Quality</p> </li><li> <p>1+ year of experience working with supplier quality processes</p> </li><li> <p>1+ year of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation</p> </li><li> <p>1+ year of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's Degree or higher (Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with First Article Inspections (i.e. AS9102)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership</p> </li><li> <p>Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with regulatory requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Experience reviewing contracts, managing suppliers, and/or experience working with inventory</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP)</p> </li></ul> <p>Travel:</p> <p>This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.</p> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Shift: 1st shift</p> <p>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
