Relevant teaching experience may count as equal to work experience requirements.</p> <p>Must have the following industry credentials prior to being hired:</p> <ul> <li>ICE Industry Competency Exam, Entry Level Residential Heating and Cooling Technician </li><li>EPA Section 608 Technician Certification, Universal Certification </li></ul> <p>Specialized Training:</p> <ul> <li>Endorsement in 7083 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration-Must hold Career and Technical Certification endorsed in (7083) Air Conditioning and Refrigeration; if no one meets this criteria the successful applicant must be willing to obtain the appropriate Career and Technical permit which requires training at WVUIT during the summer. </li><li>NCCER Training preferred </li></ul> <p>Assignment/Responsibilities: Mason County Career Center</p> <p>Performance/Responsibilities: See Job Description</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Appropriate certification required in grades 9-Adult </li><li>Responsible for planning and implementing appropriate content for AR1600 HVAC Technician </li><li>Responsible for implementing Simulated Workplace </li><li>Be accountable for individual student achievement </li><li>May be responsible for planning and implementing designated co-curricular activities and/or programs at the school such as curricular fairs, awards programs, and field trips </li><li>Strong working/communication skills with students, parents, and peers </li><li>Conduct at least two program advisory meetings a year </li><li>Willing to implement any other programs designated by the Principal for school improvement </li><li>Includes supervisory and/or other duties as assigned by the Principal </li></ul> <p>Salary: Per Mason County Pay Scale</p> <p>Term of Employment: Standard 200 day contract</p>
