<p>Job Description</p> <p>Fortune Brands is seeking a Lead ABAP Developer as part of our IT Manufacturing Systems team. This senior level role will work closely with business stakeholders for the design, creation, delivery, adoption, and support of our internal manufacturing solutions. Responsibilities include end-to-end project management supporting our Global Manufacturing and Operations teams. Relevant experience in SAP ABAP, Manufacturing Execution (PP), and Inventory and Warehousing (IM/WM) are required. The successful candidate will have the appropriate technical expertise, project management skills, and excellent communication skills as well.</p> <p>Position location - Hybrid (onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) - Deerfield, IL or Remote</p> <p>RESPONSIBLIITIES:</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Works with business leaders and acts as a liaison between Information Technology (IT) and business leadership for assigned business units or vendors. </li><li>Collects, analyzes, reviews, documents and communicates business needs and requirements. </li><li>Ensures that the design and integration of customer solutions with IT and business partners leads to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology. </li><li>Integrally involved in "buy vs. build' decision-making. </li><li>Is proactive in understanding the customer's business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business, and the short and long-term direction of the business and technology. </li><li>Identifies, proposes and influences business solutions, negotiates deliverables and requirements across multiple business customers or organizations. </li><li>Develops and improves business processes at all times, assisting with the development of metrics, both within the technology and business organizations. </li><li>Serves in a leadership role in the business unit(s) and within the IT organization. </li><li>Manages and balances the needs of diverse customers and the IT organization. </li><li>May supervise the project work of business analysts and developers. </li></ul>
