<p>This Per Diem- Dietetic Technician will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting the Clinical Dietitian in providing the optimal nutritional care to patients. </li><li>Screening at-risks patients who may be at nutritional risk and provides supportive clinical care and follow-up. </li><li>Calculates patient's nutrient and energy intake when ordered by a provider or as requested by dietitian. </li><li>Provides nutrition-related education for patients and caregivers on select modified diets. </li><li>Monitors progress through checking patient/family understanding of learned skills and follow through with plan. Monitors whether the intervention(s) is being implemented as prescribed, identifying data and information impacting effectiveness of intervention/plan of care. Communicates with RD regarding monitoring and evaluation activities, and with the RD, modifies the plan of care as needed. </li></ul> <p>To qualify, you must have:</p> <ul> <li>Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration (the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) as a Registered Dietetic Technician is preferred. </li><li>Associate's degree from an ACEND accredited program required, Bachelor's Degree from an ACEND accredited program is preferred </li><li>Minimum of one to two years related experience. </li><li>Analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, computer or technical principles. </li><li>Proficiency in a nutrient analysis programs. </li><li>Certification in ServSafe is preferred. </li><li>Diverse candidates strongly urged to apply. </li></ul>
