<p>The PROSPER (Passaic-Ramapo Onramp to Student Persistence & Employment Readiness) grant is a federal Title V grant. It is an innovative partnership with Ramapo College of NJ that provides Hispanic and low-income students with the knowledge and skill to succeed in university coursework and ensure long-term success. Grant activities include student support (career & transfer advising), applied learning opportunities for students and faculty development.</p> <p>We are seeking a Program Coordinator for the PROSPER grant who will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the activities and will report to the Director.</p> <p>This is a full-time, grant-funded administrative position.</p> <p>Example of Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day implementation of project to ensure accomplishment of objectives. </li><li>Provide direct supervision to the key project personnel, ensuring that project activities are being implemented in accordance with the approved application. </li><li>Track activity budget to ensure the appropriate use of funds. </li><li>Establish and maintain relationships with key partners and promote Title V activities. </li><li>Assist faculty in all aspects of curricular alignment and faculty department. </li><li>Assess faculty development needs and create faculty development plans. </li><li>Engage employers in curricular alignment and COP activities. </li><li>Coordinate faculty workshops and summer Institutes. </li><li>Establish a shared repository of electronic and video resources. </li><li>Research and disseminate information on applied learning strategies. </li><li>Research and introduce E-Portfolios to faculty engaged in course pilots. </li><li>Prepare reports for Project Director and Co-Project Director. </li><li>Serve on the project management team and Advisory Council </li><li>Participate in project evaluation and institutionalization of activities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experienced educator/administrator with outstanding leadership, supervisory, communication, and project management skills. </li><li>Requires a Master's degree in Education or related field. </li><li>Experience in undergraduate instruction required. </li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. </li></ul> <p>The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.</p> <p>Compensation: Salary is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications.
