<p>Location: Mansfield, OH</p> <p>Cleveland-Cliffs, Mansfield Works has an immediate opening for a Section Manager Maintenance. The Maintenance Section Manager will be responsible for supervisory control over the Shift Managers and their crews, and maintaining and reporting all mechanical and electrical equipment.</p> <p>Summary of Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintains supervisory control over work activities of the Shift Managers and crews with respect to safety, quality and production</p> </li><li> <p>Administer department safety program, conduct meetings, observations and inspections and develops and reviews procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and oversee the preventive and predictive maintenance plans; schedule maintenance outages</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for department labor issues and processing grievances</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a related field</p> </li><li> <p>5-7 years supervisory skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to make critical adjustments in emergency situations</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lead and motivate employees</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of melting and casting steel or other metals</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in a steelmaking facility</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in a union environment</p> </li></ul> <p>Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
