<p>This role is responsible for the development, management, and implementation of projects and engineering activities in connection with physical and technical aspects of the plant facilities operations, maintenance and improvements.</p> <p>Summary of Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems and to ensure safe and efficient operation.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes electrical and mechanical engineering sketches/schematics</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for preparing and leading major electrical projects</p> </li><li> <p>Develops, implements and prioritizes projects with an emphasis on meeting strategic goals and needs</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts investigations of new and proposed equipment, materials and processes, provides independent evaluations and recommendations for proposed actions</p> </li><li> <p>Determines performance gaps through data collection and analysis, maintains and continually increases technical competency</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluates purchased engineering services regarding to quality, accuracy, timeliness and cost</p> </li><li> <p>Interacts with customers, suppliers and other departments, provides technical expertise to achieve continuous improvement</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts safety and quality audits, documents conditions and improvement activities</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Project management experience in a manufacturing environment </li></ul> <p>Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities.
