<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Cash Management/Student Accounts Manager oversees all student accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate billing, timely payment processing, and compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations. This role leads the Student Accounts team, supports students and families, and serves as a key resource for account-related inquiries.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise, train, and support Student Accounts staff, fostering a collaborative and service-oriented environment. </li><li>Oversee student accounts receivable operations, particularly during peak periods such as payment deadlines and registration. </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for student account inquiries, ensuring responses to emails and voicemails within two business days. </li><li>Provide responsive, professional support to students and families by addressing questions and resolving concerns. </li><li>Maintain accuracy of student accounts, including charges, financial aid, and payments; apply account holds as necessary. </li><li>Collaborate with third-party payment providers and ensure proper account reconciliation. </li><li>Monitor delinquent accounts, coordinate placement with collection agencies, and track collection activity. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate billing processes, including statement generation and balance communications. </li><li>Administer 1098-T reporting and oversee third-party billing processes. </li><li>Support student registration processes in compliance with institutional policies. </li><li>Oversee the student refund process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. </li><li>Develop and deliver training on accounts receivable policies and procedures for departmental staff and campus partners. </li><li>Work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a higher education environment. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a professional and positive institutional image. </li><li>Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). </li><li>Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with students, families, and colleagues. </li><li>Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills. </li><li>Experience with Jenzabar or similar student information systems are preferred. </li></ul> <p>Evaluation</p> <p>Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the College's established performance evaluation process.</p> <p>Disclaimer</p> <p>This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and requirements of this position.
