<p>This position is responsible for processing Customer Performance deductions; to include research, customer contact, chargeback, follow-up and collection. This position will also back-up cash application and will assist with Customer Program deductions for processing; to include tracking, coding and resolution.</p> <p>Roles & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Processing customer performance deductions </li><li>Back up cash application </li><li>Processing customer program deductions </li><li>Projects and other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions/Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Research and validate customer performance deductions </li><li>Create credit memo if valid </li><li>Chargeback and collect from customer if not valid </li><li>Pull information from customer website </li><li>Gather information from other departments </li><li>Learn the cash application process </li><li>Understand the deductions process </li><li>Cover the cash application duties when staff is out </li><li>Maintain Customer Program tracking spreadsheet </li><li>Logging each Customer Program deduction </li><li>Recording deduction on spreadsheet for appropriate deal sheet </li><li>Listing status of deduction </li><li>Emailing Sales personnel to create Trade Form or clarify which deal sheet to use </li><li>Coding each Customer Program deduction </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of basic accounting principles and terminology. </li><li>Knowledge of telephone and business etiquette. </li><li>Knowledge of basic PC and telephone system operations. </li><li>Skill on 10-key and personal computer and/or computer terminal keyboard. </li><li>Skill in operating office machinery, such as copier, facsimile, adding machine, and telephone. </li><li>Skill in math basics, accounting procedures and analysis. </li><li>Ability to use good situational judgment in making decisions and problem solving. </li><li>Ability to pay attention to details in work. </li><li>Ability to produce accurate work. </li><li>Ability to communicate verbally in a professional manner with visitors, co-workers, customers and executive management. </li><li>Ability to effectively function as a team player. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma, or general education degree (GED), business school or some college preferred </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>One (1) year experience as a bookkeeper or accounting assistant. </li><li>An equivalent combination of education and experience. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. </li><li>Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. </li></ul> <p>Company Overview:</p> <p>PetIQ provides convenient and affordable pet health and wellness products and veterinary services to pets and their families through retail and ecommerce channels across the country.</p> <p>We are advocates for pet parents, because we believe that all pet parents should be able to provide necessary care that enhances the lives of their pets.</p> <p>Why join the PetIQ Team?</p> <ul> <li>Mission-Driven Impact: Join a team dedicated to helping pets live their best lives by providing affordable, innovative veterinary solutions. </li><li>Innovative Culture: Be part of a company that challenges industry norms with creative and resourceful solutions. </li><li>Collaborative Excellence: Thrive in an environment that values continuous improvement, high standards, and teamwork. </li><li>Humble & Hungry Spirit: Work alongside passionate professionals committed to making a real difference in pet care. </li></ul> <p>Closing:</p> <p>PetIQ is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
