If you leave your computer and return later, you may time out.</p> <p>REMINDER: Current DCSD employees must apply through their district log-on, this application is for external candidates only!</p> <p>Job Posting Title:</p> <p>Team Lead - Health, Wellness And Prevention</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Collaborates with all members of the Health Wellness and Prevention Team to support the districtwide implementation of IMTSS through the creation and execution of professional development and coaching of school teams to support the implementation of a system of supports for universal and targeted programming.</p> <p>MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor Degree in Education Field, Master's Degree preferred </li></ul> <p>EQUIPMENT & VEHICLES USED:</p> <ul> <li>Will be required to travel throughout the district with personal vehicle </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Work is performed in a general office setting or in various locations within a school building. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Occasional lifting of five (5) to then (10) pounds </li><li>Frequent sitting </li><li>Occasional bending, squatting, or standing </li><li>Must be able and willing to obtain other certifications required for the position </li></ul> <p>Position Specific Information (if Applicable):</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong partnerships and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, community organizations, and healthcare providers, to enhance support for health, wellness, and prevention initiatives.</p> <p>Evaluation and Monitoring: Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and outcomes of health, wellness, and prevention interventions, and utilize findings to refine strategies and interventions as needed.</p> <p>Policy Advocacy: Stay informed about relevant policies, regulations, and best practices in the field of health, wellness, and prevention, and advocate for policy changes or enhancements to support the district's goals and objectives in this area.</p> <p>Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to the implementation of health, wellness, and prevention initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating accountability and transparency.</p> <p>Continuous Learning and Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of emerging trends, research findings, and innovative practices in the field of health, wellness, and prevention, and apply this knowledge to enhance job performance and effectiveness.</p> <p>Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with all members of the Health, Wellness, and Prevention Team to ensure alignment and coordination in the districtwide implementation of the Integrated Multi-Tiered System of Supports (IMTSS).</p> <p>Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with all members of the Health, Wellness, and Prevention Team to ensure alignment and coordination in the districtwide implementation of the Integrated Multi-Tiered System of Supports (IMTSS).</p> <p>Coaching and Mentoring: Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to school teams to support the successful implementation of a comprehensive system of supports, including both universal and targeted programming, in alignment with an IMTSS system of supports.</p> <p>Needs Assessment: Conduct regular needs assessments to identify gaps and challenges in the implementation of health, wellness, and prevention initiatives across schools, and develop tailored support plans accordingly.</p> <p>Resource Development: Create and research resources, materials, and tools to facilitate the implementation of prevention programs (wellness, bully prevention, social-emotional learning, behavior supports), ensuring they are accessible and relevant to diverse school settings.</p> <p>Data Analysis: Analyze data related to health, wellness, and prevention efforts to monitor progress, identify trends, and inform decision-making processes aimed at continuously improving program effectiveness.</p> <p>Certifications:</p> <p>Colorado Department of Education Professional License - Colorado Department of Education</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree (Required), Master's Degree</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Primary Location:</p> <p>Wilcox</p> <p>One Year Only (Yes or No):</p> <p>No</p> <p>Scheduled Hours Per Week:</p> <p>40</p> <p>Full-Time Equivalent (FTE):</p> <p>1.00</p> <p>Approx Scheduled Days Per Year:</p> <p>205 Work Days</p> <p>Full Salary Range:</p> <p>$62,150.00 USD - $131,345.00 USD Annual</p> <p>Position Salary Schedule Eligibility:</p> <p>Specialist/Extremely Hard to Hire</p> <p>Licensed position salaries are set based on one of three salary schedules; General, Hard to Hire, and Specialist/Extremely Hard to Hire. DCSD will award up to 7 years of previous licensed teaching experience at the time of hire.
