<p>Job Title: Kubernetes Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This position offers the chance to advance cutting-edge technology supporting national security missions. You will be involved in developing solutions for submarine combat system infrastructure as part of a Platform as a Service (PaaS) Architect role, collaborating with esteemed customers and multidisciplinary teams.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Work on Platform as a Service (PaaS) for submarine combat system infrastructure. </li><li>Create innovative product solutions that meet customer requirements and company objectives. </li><li>Collaborate with hardware, software, and cybersecurity experts. </li><li>Communicate software solutions and designs to medium and large teams of engineers. </li><li>Manage infrastructure ecosystem PaaS, including troubleshooting and SWFTS integration. </li><li>Evolve system design with a focus on Non Functional Requirements, resource allocation, and holistic approaches. </li><li>Resolve complex issues and conduct research spikes. </li><li>Develop and manage PaaS product vision and agile team. </li><li>Support DevOps and CI/CD processes. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or Master's degree plus job-related experience. </li><li>2+ years of job-related experience with Kubernetes, including building and deploying systems. </li><li>Experience with Agile or SCRUM methodologies. </li><li>Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required. </li><li>U.S. citizenship is required. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Kubernetes. </li><li>Familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Python. </li><li>Experience creating and implementing CI/CD pipelines. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and effective presentation abilities. </li><li>Strong knowledge of technology trends and ability to champion new ideas. </li><li>Ability to handle complex assignments and challenging problems. </li><li>Creative thinking and multitasking abilities. </li><li>Experience with development for Real Time Operating Systems. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is based on-site in Manassas with the option to work a 9/80 schedule.
