In this key role, you will help drive strategies that enhance our impact and growth, ensuring our commitment to both institutional and community success</p> <p>As the Business Development Manager supporting the Government Banking segment, you will develop, support, and manage regional and national community opportunities for government entities. You will be a key player in the Community & Business Development (CBD) organization and your role will be to support field management by implementing strategies that enhance our impact and growth. Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Growth, you will work closely with CBD leadership, One Chase, JPMC partners, and other functional groups. You must be able to work independently, influence leadership, coach behaviors, and manage your workload efficiently.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support JPMorganChase's mission to be the bank for all, the easiest to do business with, and trusted in our communities. </li><li>Manage 5-15 regional/national relationships within the Government Banking segment with the ability to pivot to support other vertical segments as needed including Higher Education, Healthcare, Non-profit, and Middle Market. </li><li>Connect stakeholders to firm resources, including One JPMC partners and local Community Managers. </li><li>Acting as a subject matter expert for Divisional Directors, Community Directors, and JPMC partners, the role will be responsible for key initiatives such as market entry activation and assessing current relationships and identifying opportunities to deepen involvement by collaborating with Government Bankers. </li><li>Create an engagement plan with standardized offerings; align resources and goals with partners and entities and regularly monitor and report progress. </li><li>Partner with local One Chase to offer Financial Health Workshops to employees of government entities. </li><li>Recommend solutions to deliver on strategic opportunities for CBD employees and One Chase partners. </li><li>Scale business development function, leading to standardized best practices and added value for LOB partners. </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, skills and capabilities</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 7 years of business development within the government sector. </li><li>Ability to connect business results to behaviors and influence leadership. </li><li>Passionate, authentic, bold, and a team player. </li><li>Executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills and ability to create executive-level summaries. </li><li>Expert knowledge of Chase ecosystem and experience in coaching behaviors. </li><li>Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering results. </li><li>Ability to travel up to 75%. </li></ul> <p>Dodd Frank and SAFE Act</p> <p>This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMC's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and any other information relevant to a determination by JPMC that you demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position. Your continued employment in this position would be contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.</p> <p>In addition, this position will require National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. As such, upon active employment with JPMorgan Chase, you will be required to either register on NMLS, or to update your existing registration as necessary to grant access to and reflect your employment with JPMorgan Chase. Your continued employment in this position with JPMorgan Chase is contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after your start date, and timely completion of annual renewal and required updates thereafter.</p> <p>Any information obtained during the registration, update, and renewal processes or through NMLS notifications may impact your employment with the firm.
