Reinvesting tens of millions of dollars back into Morgan Olson's production facilities with state-of-the-art equipment and advanced automation technologies, producing the safest and most efficient "last mile" home delivery work trucks on the market today.</p> <p>Job Title: Occupational Nurse</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Provides cost effective nursing services and programs to treat and improve the health and wellness of the Team Members and reduce incidents within the facilities.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Activities:</p> <ul> <li>Conducts on-site treatment of injuries and evaluates physical condition of patient. </li><li>Contacts physician and hospital to arrange for further medical treatment when needed. </li><li>Counsels team members of injury prevention and health care. </li><li>Maintains record of persons treated, and prepared accident reports and insurance forms as required. </li><li>Develops proactive health programs, such as health education (wellness), accident prevention, alcohol/drug abuse counseling, curtailment of smoking, flu shots, and weight control regimens. </li><li>May assist company physician in physical examination of team members. </li><li>Manages worker compensation claims. </li><li>Maintains health center and first aid supplies. </li><li>Collect data on work related injuries/illnesses and work with EH&S Manager to determine root cause. </li><li>Administers drug screens (new hire, random, incident, for cause). </li><li>Manages medical surveillance programs (respirator, physical, audiometric, etc.). </li><li>Supports and participates in Morgan Olson's PPS team efforts. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements/Hazards:</p> <ul> <li>Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment </li><li>Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time </li><li>May require bending, stooping and lifting to 15 lbs </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years of nursing experience </li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial occupational industry </li><li>Associate's degree in nursing is required (bachelor's degree preferred) from an accredited nursing program. </li><li>Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification desired (or board eligible) </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) </li><li>Company paid life insurance </li><li>10 company paid holidays </li><li>Vacation and personal time </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Salary range: $60,000-$70,000</p> <p>#LI-CM2</p> <p>Virtual Job: false</p>
