<p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>The Generator Component COE (Center of Excellence) Leader will be responsible to lead, direct and plan manufacturing operations, including providing leadership to a salaried manufacturing leadership team to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery and cost (SQDC), while building on a culture of inclusion and respect for people, and continuous improvement.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead a team of multiple manufacturing cell leaders and their teams, including production supervisors who oversee hourly employees </li><li>Develop, coach and motivate the team to achieve optimum day-to-day operations, including well-functioning, disciplined daily management and problem solving </li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing leader peers and the broader manufacturing team to deliver on-time to our customers and achieve SQDC KPIs and outcomes </li><li>Drive strong collaboration with engineering and other cross functional support teams </li><li>Execute Lean Roadmap deliverables and set strategic goals within the CoE </li><li>Drive full implementation of Life Saving Rules and Built-in-Quality into daily operations </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations leadership OR High School/GED plus 10 years manufacturing operations leadership. </li></ul> <p>Desired Characteristics</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university </li><li>Embodies the GE Vernova Way </li><li>Leads with a Lean mindset and is skilled at applying Lean tools to improve processes </li><li>Demonstrated record of success in leading manufacturing operations </li><li>Strong knowledge of Generator products </li><li>Demonstrated ability in leading and fostering positive employee and labor/union relations </li><li>Strong problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to effectively influence, motivate and coach others </li><li>Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines </li></ul> <p>Pay Transparency</p> <p>The base pay range for this position is $144,000-$185,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
