<p>Job Title: Retail Banking Operations Specialist</p> <p>Department: Branch Administration</p> <p>Job Status: Full Time</p> <p>FLSA Status: Exempt</p> <p>Grade: 11</p> <p>Amount of Travel: Some Travel</p> <p>Reports To: AVP, Retail Banking Operations Manager</p> <p>Positions Supervised: N/A</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Supports and Assists the Retail Banking Operations Department in monitoring and reviewing various operations of the Branches to ensure compliance and efficiency. Assists to develop, maintain, recommend and implement policies and procedures for branches. Make assessments and recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Reviews and evaluates regular reports of branch activities, including staffing, operational errors and audits to help branches meet performance goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with Monthly and Quarterly Audits, Annual in Branch Reviews, Annual Remote Reviews and Annual safe deposit key audits.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with all aspects of seasonal branch operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that bank policies and procedures are consistently applied by all branches.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in implementation of system changes to support new products, ensures system integrity and recommends program changes to more efficiently and effectively support services offered.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists the Internal Auditor with branch audits as needed; available as a resource during all branch hours as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides assistance and advises should a branch emergency occur.</p> </li><li> <p>Acts as a resource to branch employees with policy and procedure questions as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports branch staff with legal issues for complex situations that include account titling, Fiduciaries, POA, Personal Representatives, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports core system changes and upgrades including core upgrade weekends.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists the Compliance officer with safety and soundness regulatory examiners on retail operations issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Acts as Administrator of FIS (ChexSystems), Web Capture, Trism and iOpen systems to include user access for branch personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with Managing delinquent safe deposit boxes, following through with branches to ensure customers are contacted. Coordinates annual drilling of delinquent boxes and mailing the necessary contents to the state for escheatment.
