We focus on exceeding our clients' expectations while fostering an environment that challenges our employees and propels their careers to the next level.</p> <p>DLZ Corporation has an exciting Entry Level Bridge Engineer opportunity in Cleveland, OH!</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform design engineering, bridge inspections and other assignments requiring a solid grasp of the Structural Engineering discipline and the exercise of professional judgment. </li><li>Perform Structural Engineering work under close supervision or provide support to more experienced personnel. </li><li>Perform analyses and design required for Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky highway structures, systems and equipment items. </li><li>Prepare Structural drawings using AutoCAD (Civil 3D) and Microstation (ORD) design software. </li><li>Assist in the preparation of reports, economic and technical feasibility studies, and studies aimed at evaluating alternatives. </li><li>Assist in the preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, and proposals. </li><li>Perform work in the field as well as in the office. </li><li>Possess aptitude to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values. </li><li>Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, emphasis in Structural Engineering </li><li>0 - 3 years structural engineering experience </li><li>Engineering Intern (EI), pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred </li><li>AutoCAD (Civil 3D) and MicroStation (OpenRoads) experience a plus </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office including; Word and Excel </li><li>Verbal and written proficiency with the English language required </li><li>Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements </li></ul> <p>Why DLZ?</p> <p>At DLZ, we are committed to supporting the professional growth of our employees and fostering a collaborative and rewarding work environment.
