Failure to disclose will result in withdrawal of the job offer or termination of the hiring process</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>NHA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Pharmacy Operations to lead our dynamic retail pharmacy. This leadership role requires a minimum of four (4) years of pharmacy experience, with proven expertise in managing retail pharmacy operations. 340B and APEXUS program knowledge is preferred-this individual will oversee all aspects of compliance, inventory, and strategic execution of 340B policies within the pharmacy setting.</p> <p>This is a Monday-Friday position with no evenings, weekends, and 11 paid holiday shifts, offering an excellent work-life balance while leading impactful operations that serve the community.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient, accurate prescription fulfillment and excellent patient service. </li><li>Lead, schedule, and mentor a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. </li><li>Provide strategic leadership and compliance management of the 340B program, including policy implementation and APEXUS standards. </li><li>Monitor inventory, drug procurement, and ensure tight controls on scheduled substances. </li><li>Support provider teams by offering pharmaceutical insights and flagging potential drug interactions or therapy concerns. </li><li>Deliver patient counseling and education on prescription use, ensuring medication adherence and safety. </li><li>Ensure pharmacy operations adhere to state and federal regulations, including Board of Pharmacy and DEA compliance. </li><li>Maintain a secure, professional, and patient-centered environment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Active Ohio Pharmacist License (RPh); Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) </li><li>Minimum 4 years of pharmacy experience required; leadership in retail pharmacy operations is highly preferred. </li><li>Extensive working knowledge of 340B Program and APEXUS guidelines is preferred. </li><li>Strong administrative and coordination skills; able to lead cross-functional pharmacy teams. </li><li>Excellent communication and patient engagement skills. </li><li>Highly organized with attention to detail and inventory accuracy. </li><li>Ability to thrive in a diverse, community-focused environment. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <p>Full-Time, Monday-Friday schedule (no evenings, weekends, 11 paid holidays)</p> <p>Competitive salary (salary requirements required for interview consideration)</p> <p>Comprehensive benefits package:</p> <p>Paid Time Off (PTO)</p> <p>11 Paid Holidays</p> <p>Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and 403B retirement plan.</p> <p>Join our dedicated team at NHA and contribute to a mission-driven organization that values community health and equitable access to care.</p> <p>To Apply:Submit your resume and salary requirements to be considered for an in-person interview.
