<p>Role OverviewYour nutritional know-how can help patients in your community live happier, healthier lives. Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for the Caron Treatment Centers facility in Wernersville, Pennsylvania. This is a 250-bed, inpatient drug and alcohol facility. The average census is currently 150-200, and the typical length of stay is four weeks. Units vary by age (young adults, adults, older adults), gender, insurance, private pay, and recovery experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about nutrition and Behavioral Health. New RDs are encouraged to apply!3 weeks vacation and 3 personal days!Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal!Money toward continuing education events!Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!Free lunch and Free parking! What You'll DoSee patients individually per policy (medical need only)Facilitate sobriety nutrition therapy lectures on the various unitsAttend Team meetings (like Rounds) attendance - typically one dailyParticipate in Huddles with Operations team when clinical schedule allowsUpdate dietary needs list daily for the Operations team and Update resources and lecture materials Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as the primary liaison with the medical and nursing staffParticipate in Caron's Wellness CommitteeWhat We OfferCompensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. If you need assistance with the application process, please complete this form.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian</p>
