We seek a broadly trained sociologist who demonstrates a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts and sciences environment. The successful candidates will teach four courses per semester (typically two course preps), ranging from introductory to upper-level sociology courses. The area of specialization is open. We seek candidates with an active, current research agenda. We value candidates who can contribute to one or more of the following areas in the major: methods and statistics, criminology, child welfare and/or social psychology.</p> <p>A Ph.D. in sociology is required by the time of appointment.
