<p>JOB OVERVIEW:</p> <p>The Sr. Retirement Specialist supports Darden Retirement Programs utilizing plan documents and procedures to ensure eligible participants have the information needed to enroll as well as have their deferrals correctly withheld. As a member of the Benefits team, this person will work closely with payroll, retirement plan providers, team members, and other company departments to ensure plan administration is in compliance with the plans and various retirement regulations. Serves as the day-to-day contact with plan vendors. Provides employee and retiree support.</p> <p>ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Performs the day-to-day administration of the Company's retiree medical, 401(k) and non-qualified plans. </li><li>Familiar with all plan provisions; can interpret plan documents and procedures </li><li>Performs participant eligibility research for all retirement programs; runs and verifies calculations as needed; ensures accuracy and compliance </li><li>Researches and supports escalations for participant issues as they arise </li><li>Supports Retirement Analyst and Manager, Retirement during open enrollment for non-qualified plans both year end and mid-year </li><li>Supports Retirement Analyst and Manager, Retirement with distributions for non-qualified retirement program </li><li>Supports and coordinates vendor confirmations and data requests for the annual plan audits </li><li>Monitors plan reporting, journal entries, and monthly reconciliations for accounting purposes </li><li>Day to day contact for RSC and field HR for questions, concerns or retiree requests </li><li>Day to day contact for all retirement and retiree health care recordkeeping plan vendors </li><li>Ensures timely and accurate completion and submission of weekly company contributions </li><li>Maintains annual plan compliance documents for retirement programs </li><li>Provides excellent customer service support to internal partners, employees, and external plan vendors </li><li>Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion. </li></ul> <p>JOB TYPE:</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years Retirement plan administration or equivalent </li><li>Certification in Retirement plans (a plus) </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED EDUCATION:</p> <ul> <li>Associates/Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Willingness to work towards obtaining a retirement certification RPA / CPSP/ ASPPA credential (a plus). </li></ul> <p>OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to interpret all Plan documents. </li><li>Understanding of retirement plan fiduciary oversight requirements and best practices. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple and competing priorities. </li><li>Strong MS Excel, MS Word, and Power Point skills. </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills while maintaining confidentiality. </li><li>Good project management skills </li><li>Detail oriented and highly organized. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to gather and maintain data. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others. </li><li>Familiarity with PeopleSoft a plus. </li><li>Bilingual a plus </li></ul> <p>#LI-DNP</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p>
