<p>Intern, Information Technology (IT Business Analyst)</p> <p>Department: IT</p> <p>Employment Type: Internship</p> <p>Location: Greenwood Village, CO</p> <p>Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 / hour</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Trinidad Benham Corporation is seeking applicants for an Information Technology Business Analyst / Technical Product Owner internship to support our custom ERP system for our rapidly changing and growing business. The ideal candidate would have a technical aptitude to understand complex software applications and databases. This candidate would have great communication skills to work with our team as well as software developers to develop requirements for our applications. Candidate must be a self-starter, fast learner and have the ability to think through complex problems. This position will be ideal for someone wanting to explore the world of software development and a has a desire to learn project management, software development process and business analysis skills.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Develop requirements and enhancements for a new ERP application </li><li>Determine priorities and return on investment </li><li>Work with and lead development team to produce effective features </li><li>Collaborate with UI/UX design team to create mockups </li><li>Produce training documentation </li><li>Test features created by the development team </li><li>Perform initial analysis of reported defects and proposed enhancements </li><li>Support requirements gathering and visioning of mobile version of software </li><li>Assist with project coordination </li><li>Collaborate and brainstorm with current BA team to form effective and purposeful features </li></ul> <p>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</p> <p>Required education and experience</p> <ul> <li>Pursuing bachelor's degree in business, computer science or any type of engineering is preferred </li><li>Technical aptitude to understand software applications and databases </li><li>Excellent analytical skills </li><li>Excellent communication skills to work with our business users, management and team members </li><li>Able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail </li><li>Learn to be able to elicit business requirements for small to medium sized issues </li><li>Desire to write user stories with necessary detail to facilitate high quality deliverables </li><li>After gaining business experience, be able to triage a business "need" vs. a business "want" </li><li>Look for alternate solutions and offer up ideas </li><li>Once trained on a program, have the ability to write end user training documentation </li><li>Able to train users, in person or remotely, using documentation or expert knowledge </li><li>Write test scripts for small to medium programs </li><li>Assist with system testing </li><li>Guide and assist users with User Acceptance Testing </li><li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills </li><li>Experience with the project organization software Notion </li><li>Experience in SQL, Agile/Scrum methodologies and programming </li></ul>
